Hasani Morey (King Hashim) was born and raised in Miami Fl, at the age of 13 he realized his passion and goal was to act. At this age he also began working professionally with the African American Cultural Arts Center in liberty city being apart of “The Amen Corner” ( Brother Washington). He attended Miami Northwestern’s Theatre (PAVAC) program where he realized this was the path he wanted to go on after high school. While attending Miami Northwestern he was cast in conscience one-woman show (The ghost boy) Zooman and the sign ( Russel), and Oscar award winner Moonlight ( Student). In his spare time, he would perform spoken word for audiences such as The commissioner of Miami Gardens, Marco Rubio, The late congressman John Lewis, and many others. At the age of 19 Hasani joined the army National guard and sometime during a deployment wrote the book “Tears Fall”.

After returning from deployment he received the opportunity to join the cast of grease as Sonny.
He is excited to work for such an iconic and life-changing project and couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity.
