Deanette Rivas born and raised in Miami Florida from Venezuelan culture; Singer/Songwriter/dancer/actress graduated with a BFA in musical Theater from NEW WORLD SCHOOL OF THE ARTS college. Has been singing dancing and acting since age 7 from being part of the kids' program in Don Francisco, voice overs for Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, commercials & Jingles to doing background vocals, to famous artists like Belinda, Ilan Chester, & Juan Gabriel. She has participated in multiple Musicals throughout her high school & college career Elphaba in Wicked, Sarah in Guys & Dolls, Martha in Spring Awakening, Rizzo in Grease, Effie in Dreamgirls, Aida in Aida, she was a part of LA VOZ season 1 in Telemundo and made it to the top 15. She is a Miami local singer/songwriter you can find her all over town in multiple venues, private corporate events. Also, a part of the BMI family and Pitbull's writing team. She is currently one of the vocal talents of The KITCHEN and does the dubbing for several shows in Spanish and English.
Deanette took a step away from musical theater specifically for some years to dedicate to her family and now after all this time of only singing and songwriting she is so grateful and honored to 2020 imagination productions to have been chosen for the role of Jan in this upcoming production of GREASE.
She is thrilled with what’s to come and is very thankful for the continued support of her husband, children, family and friends.
